At PIERS, Vijayalakshmi Surendranath Shroff from the Chair for System and Circuit Technology (Prof. Scheytt) presented a paper on optical light pulse propagation in silicon waveguides, titled "Analysis of Phase Noise in Waveguide-integrated Optical Test Structures in Silicon Photonics".
Her paper won the Best Student Paper Award (2nd rank).
